Legacy Heritage Fund is proud to announce another round of the Legacy Heritage Emergency Fund for Jewish Education. Consistent with the mission of Legacy Heritage Fund to support Jewish education, the Legacy Heritage Emergency Fund for Jewish Education will enable day schools to assist families committed to Jewish education to keep their children in school despite significant financial cost.
Schools may apply for the Legacy Heritage Emergency Fund for Jewish Education under the following circumstances:
- School is located in small or medium sized Jewish community with a Jewish population of 30,000 or less.
- School is a day school with a middle school and/or high school.
- School has families with a documented need for assistance, e.g., they are already receiving financial aid from the school.
Funds will be provided to schools, not families or individuals. Schools receiving funds are responsible for submitting appropriate confidential documentation regarding the distribution of funds and the families receiving assistance.
Please note: Schools located in the metropolitan areas with a Jewish population of more than 30,000, such as Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, and the tri-state New York metropolitan area are ineligible for funds.
